Sweet Pure Honey Mission
|
|
Beekeepers and artisans Stella Sehn and Sheldon Hill raise their three children – and enough bees to occupy 400 hives – in the peaceful prairie community of Porcupine Plain. Their natural honey is hand-packed, their honey pots hand-labelled, their candles and lip balms handmade. Selling directly to the buyer over the Internet allows them to offer fair-trade products at affordable prices. |
About Sweet Pure Honey Sweet Pure Honey is about sustenance – for their customers, family and their community. The care they put into everything from beekeeping to pouring mini-hive-shaped candles to hand packaging is reflected in all the positive – make that exuberant – feedback about their deliriously rich honey butter; purifying artisan beeswax candles; and nutrient-packed, lip-softening beeswax and organic coconut-oil balms. |
Sweet Pure Honey Products and Merchandise
Their unique combination of direct selling and fair-trade pricing means that you can invest in all-natural Sweet Pure Honey goods – from anywhere in North America – at affordable prices, and they can run a sustainable, values-driven operation from their prairie farm. It's important to them to be there for their three children. They also insist on compensating their partner farmers properly for their work, and this model allows them to pay above market value. And a share of Sweet Pure Honey profits goes to charities in Porcupine Plains too – the vibrant, rural community, which sustains their young family. |
